Are you winging your sales process?

You have no real guide on what you’re doing, no repeatable process that you have in place. And leaving it to pure chance each time?

If you don’t have your own recipe - you need to start creating one. Otherwise, you’ll have zero optics on what’s working and what’s not. Nor will you ever be able to hand off the sales process beyond yourself.

The goal with all of this is to avoid having inconsistent results.

“So how do I start to create a systemized sales process…”

There are a few different ways:

  • Record your sales calls: Zoom makes this super easy. Collect all of the sales calls you do - and get someone to review them and give feedback. Ideally, someone who’s also skilled with sales.
  • Create a sales script/process: This allows you to refine and improve your script with each sale call you make. And iron out any kinks...
  • Create a sales deck: This was the most surprising one. Create a visual that demonstrates how your service works that you can leverage to guide your sales calls through.

Sales are one of the most important areas of your business - and I know a lot of service business owners are reluctant to hand it off…

The beauty when it comes to creating a rock-solid process that is proven to work is that you can teach other people how to do it.

And as a result - you’ve now created a system that allows you to remove yourself from the sales process.
